AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
A Mt. Airy, Philadelphia native, Cinsearae started writing as early as age 8. Her talents include numerous things; poetry, drawing and interests in theater. She attended Community College of Philadelphia to take up classes in Creative Writing and Acting. In 2000, she participated in the "Philly Fringe Festival" with Exclamation Theater, Inc.-- Philadelphia's educational theater company.
It was a long-time aspiration of Ms. Santiago to have a book of her own published, and, like many writers, started out small. Some of her poetry, non-fiction articles and artwork were published in small-press magazines and literary anthologies, Reflections of You Magazine, and New Moon Rising Magazine.
Ms. Santiago has been writing, editing and producing her own works through print-on-demand and conventional publishers. She is the creator of the Blood Touch series released in 2004 and available at Amazon.com. Her recent project is the all-new paranormal romance series, Abraxas, available at her online bookstore. A digital artist and still-photographer, she is the Cover Artist for Jaded Silence Press and a few select authors of the paranormal and horror genres. In 2007, she received the Author's Site of Excellence Award from Preditors & Editors. Ms. Santiago is also Editor/Publisher of Dark Gothic Resurrected Magazine, having created this publication to give new and unpublished writers and artists of the aforementioned genres a chance to shine and see their names in print, where other editors will not take the risk. Dark Gothic Resurrected contains short stories, poetry, interviews, reviews and has a 'welcome home' feel to it, giving readers the opportunity to view works that would otherwise go unpublished.
An avid fan of horror movies, Halloween is her favorite time of the year. She is a very private person, detests anyone who tries to restrain or belittle others and their creativity, and loves photographing cemeteries, listening to a vast array of music, and spending quiet times in nature, although she is partial to checking out a Goth club/event every now and again.
She currently lives with her fiance' and three pets-- one hamster, Sniffles IV, and two Rat Terriers, Hades and Chaos.
Quirks: Collecting skulls and anything that seems an oddity.
