What are some good books on writing?
What are some good books on writing a book/writing style? I have a couple (This Year You Write Your Novel & a writers kit that has The Writer’s Market in it, 70 things to know about writing-can remember the exact title- and it has a couple of writing exercise things in it). I would like something that is both helpful and not boring. Thanks!
On Writing by Stephen King, definitely. It’s part autobiography and part writing guide. It’s really helpful. I’m reading it right now. It doesn’t matter if what you are writing is not horror. It’s for all genres, books to short stories.

Somewhere in Time (Collector’s Edition) $3.94 It’s silly, it’s superficial, it’s so desperately earnest about its tale of time-spanning love that you almost wish for a cheap flatulence gag just to break the solemn mood.
